In some patients, since there is no problem with the inward angle, the operation can be terminated with outer ear reduction.

PROCESS AFTER EAR AESTHETICS

There is almost no pain after the otoplasty operation. This problem is solved with painkillers approved by the surgeon in people who experience a mildly painful process. After the operation, the operated ears are wrapped with continuously renewed bandages for the first week. The sutures used in the surgery (if used) are removed in the first week of the control. The first two months of the process should use a bandage or headband to keep their ears in the proper position while lying down. Although the ear is considered to be completely healed in terms of tissue within two months, it should be protected against pulling trauma for the first six months.

It is applied in patients whose auricle development is completely completed. It can be applied to people who have such a problem in the next period, as it is usually applied to children in their 10s due to the psychological traumas caused by the prominent ear in children due to environmental factors.

Prominent ear aesthetics can be applied to anyone who has completed ear development. It can be applied to all individuals over the age of 4-5 because the ear development of people is completed after 4-5 years of age.

CAN I HAVE HEARING LOSS AFTER EAR AESTHETICS?

It is an extra-ear operation, and since it is a sensitive operation, hearing loss is not seen.

AFTER EAR AESTHETICS, ARE THERE VISIBLE TRACES LEFT ON THE EAR?

There may be a minimal scar in the treated area, but this scar is almost invisible as it remains behind the ear. This is also the case in earlobe operations, and there is no visible trace that will disturb the patient.
